Talk about certain rarity about the Big Twin, Harley-Davidson, detail-improved, power-pumped two-wheel ride can be fun to ride. Re-introduced from the late 1960’s, The Sportster XL1200 is something to be well recognized, especially with the removed unpleasant vibrations.
Forged and Handcrafted
A real deal head turner, Anghel ng Lansangan’s one of a kind creation named the Challenger. We were able to see this unique build during the Short Round Up event organized by Acid Head Basillo of Acid Custom Leather last December 28, 2015. We cruised from Quezon City Circle to Vintage Cafe in Cainta Rizal.
Not any moto-freak who gets their hands laid upon such a monster engine, could come up with something that you can’t see everyday. What is skill, and what is talent if it lacks passion and experience? Like a great fine wine. It marks a reflection of who they are. As loud as how their minds speak towards a motorcycle project, is how loud their creations can be. Classic and vintage took their own terms and extended beyond limits.
“Every detail of this bike was handcrafted and forged by our father, the legend Mr. Boying Malapitan,” say Ralph.
Born and raised as a motorhead, well it really runs in their family, Ralph said it was his dream to own a Harley Davidson ever since he was in high school.
But due to its rarity back then and yes of course it was way to expensive, they had to resort for another option. They got a second hand engine, a Harley Davidson Sportster XL1200S and it took them 3 years to finish this masterpiece.
It was such a clean build and we were able to see this unique beast roar in the streets during the Short Roud Up ride.
