Last April 2, 2017 MX Messiah Fairgrounds, Taytay Rizal transformed into a post-apocalyptic, desert-inspired fortress for the thriving custom motorcycle scene. Powdered earth covered every inch of the venue as different types of motorcycle and riders gathered for another day of dirt track racing, wacky games and camaraderie for the 2nd annual Keep It Dirty event, hosted by Cafe Racer Philippines, Waves and Pavement and Mx Messiah Fairgrounds.

going side ways.

May 14, 2016 was the birth of the event Keep It Dirty, a motorcycling sport that brought back the roots of track racing spearheaded by our managing director Michael Eijansantos and a bunch of dirt heads that wanted to have a fun filled event. Keep it Dirty also gave garage builders and racers a new inspiration and fuel their ideas in customizing motorcycles to bring the optimum performances of their bikes for dirt track racing. But Keep It Dirty’s real mission and vision is to give an opportunity for all bikers in the country to an event which everyone can have fun, bond with fellow bikers and racers, enjoy good food while going head-to-head on friendly, non-competitive racing on the dirt track.

The first KID event last year was rather intimate and had support from friends and acquaintances which were curious enough to explore this new ground of motorcycle racing. From moto builders and/or hobbyists, professional racers and ex-motocross riders, each gained an insight and etched in their hearts that a new world has opened for everyone; dirt track racing is undeniably the next best thing that happened to ‘motor sports life’.

But the 2nd KID was filled with a larger crowd! Different groups of ‘moto’ hobbyists, garage builders, professional racers, monkey bike collectors and even motorcycle-loving celebrities were all present to join the dusty celebration of the sport.
