2017 was breakthrough for us here at Cafe Racer Philippines. We’ve witnessed the progression of the Custom Culture in the Philippines as well as the growth of the custom bike community in Asia. Here’s a rundown of our monthly custom bike features as well as the moments and events that happened in 2017.

Featured on January 8, 2017. Philmar got inspired with the growing community of bike building and was prompted to start his own project. He easily got connected to Benjo Sun of 3B Customs, who coincidentally was based in Surigao City, the mainland of Siargao. Read about the Barrel Master’s bike here.
Jerish Abac, head of this “soy-based” custom garage located in Pateros, Manila, shared to CRPH their newest build for a client that had a great vision for its design. This bike was featured last February 2017. Read about the Diablo. Click here.
A sexy naked bike, the Yamaha XJR 400 is by far one of the most iconic 400cc motorcycles in the Philippines. The Air-cooled, inline 4 cylinder, BSR30×4 carburetors, DOHC H501E engine is packed with power which you may no longer handle the torque once you’re out there twisting the throttle. Featured last June 23, 2017. The first Filipino Motorcycle riding team, Himalayan Adventure Team Pinas consists of Jimmy D.L. Barinaga, Ryan Agoncillo, Bong Diaz, Omar Sebastian, Raul Ona, Dian Dayag and Kannan Sreedevi has reached Khardungla the “World’s Highest Motorable Road” at 18,380 ft. last June 20, 2017 at around 12:10 pm conquering the Himalayas surpassing the minus 5 degrees temperature and extreme rugged road terrain.
Featured last July 7, 2017. Alec used a 77 Honda dream Superhawk tank. it fits perfectly and gave that classic look and cafe racer attitude on the bike. All in all, this bike is a superb build. it even won a local moto show in Palawan. Read about it here.
MARAWI HEROES- A CUSTOM BIKE TRIBUTE BY LAGUNA CHOPPERS

Featured last September 1, 2017. This rusty bike has captured our attention since its social media appearance last year as a collaboration project between Jerry Formoso Kustoms and the owner of Tattoo Lab Mr. Norman Saliot. Read more about TurboRat here.
This event was featured last September 30, 2017. The yearly dapper celebration saw 700 modern classic motorcycle riders in one awesome gathering last September 24 for the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride manila 2017.
Featured last October 30, 2017. Gian Lasam is an avid rider whose passion and print business intertwines with his daily work routines.
